Diving

Summer Sports

Rebecca flips at the diving meet a couple of weeks ago.
Second place! Hooray!
Spencer has really enjoyed the CARA track program this summer. He's recruiting Eva to join him next summer. One of the benefits of running track is that he's explored Broomfield a lot. For Family Home Evening last week, he took us to a park he discovered during one of his track practice runs. We now call it "Spencer's Park."
Eva played T-ball this summer for the first time. She's been a good sport about having mom and dad coach. It's not always easy being the coaches' kid.
Here's our team--the Alligators. We actually got somebody out last week, which was totally awesome.

The 4th of July Hood Dance

Happy Independence Day!

The City of Broomfield handed out many, many free ice cream bars at the 4th of July celebration. Hot cocoa may have been a more appropriate because it was downright cold, but the ice cream sure was yummy.
Eva loved the pony rides. This particular pony is named Peaches.
The petting zoo geese looked a little stressed out. They couldn't find a way out of the fence, try as they might.
The little brown goat in the bottom left part of the picture got a lot of attention at the petting zoo.
