We could only come up with one marginally acceptable picture this week. Rather than tell you what's going on in this picture, we thought it might be fun if you guess, sort of like when the newspapers print cartoons with no captions and people can write in with funny, current-events-leaning captions. Anyone still read newspapers? Anyone?
So the big story of the week is that all three kids are now enrolled in Colorado Online Virtual Academy, which means they will have to get along with each other at home instead of being separated by classroom walls at school. Rebecca has been doing COVA since the beginning of the school year, and we've been very impressed by the curriculum and how much she's learning. So bring it on!
There was a bit of snow this morning--just the right amount (enough to look pretty but not enough to shovel). Rebecca accompanied Ben to school yesterday and helped him wire a circuit for a new camera and light source. According to Rebecca, they almost got blinded and locked in an auditorium. Her version sounds more action movie worthy than Ben's, so we'll go with it.
The break has been divine. I'm convinced that our bodies were intended to receive at least nine hours of sleep every night.

"Spencer, where did you learn to melt heroin? I told you I would teach you when you turned twelve."
Amen to the 9 hours of sleep!
So do you still get no school on "snow days" with COVA? I guess you guys don't know what snow days are in Colorado anyway.
As far as the picture, I have no idea. I'm not very creative. So please fill us in!
"Spencer, when I told you to let your 'light so shine', I'm not sure you completely understood the point -- please don't set the table on fire!"
