This is Spencer at the archery station at the Cub Scout Klondike. The idea behind the Klondike is that the kids spend the day having fun in very cold weather and learn to keep themselves warm, which helps them to be confident that they can take care of themselves. But as you can see, it wasn't very cold outside. They had hot chocolate anyway.
Here we are with our neighbor Caden at Boulder Falls. There are all kinds of signs in the canyon about college students who have died there rock climbing. Quite inspirational.

Happy Birthday, Ben! This is the traditional mint chocolate chip ice cream cake. We'll make it again on Father's Day. Eva is very good at crushing the Oreos.

What's with your son and the gang signs?
Cub Scouts didn't work out, so we signed him up for the Bloods. The registration fees were pretty steep, but they said they'll take good care of him.
