Water slides and The Feminine Mystique

Betty Friedan's The Feminine Mystique was published the year this house was built, so it only seems appropriate...
This is one of the water slides at the Paul Derda Rec Center. The kids LOVE the Paul Derda Rec Center.
Spencer coming in for landing!
COVA field day. We were only 45 minutes late because I couldn't find the park.

The water slides look sooo fun! And was Spencer in heaven with all the GIRLS at Eva's (very creative) party? If not, he will be in about 8 years!
I remember that's when I decided Ben wasn't so bad to have as an older brother, when he started inviting his cute friends over to our house!

I am beyond impressed with that birthday party. Wow. It's a Near Eastern Studies-majorer's dream come true

Spencer was NOT in heaven with all the girls at Eva's party. I tell him that someday he'll like it, but he just rolls his eyes.

Becky, next time you're here we can mummify Barbies together. It's even better than spa night.

That lady behind the kids in the parachute pictures looks like Violet Beauregard.
